Let me introduce you to the newest addition to the Manor…welcome to The Bridal Cottage. Located just on the edge of our property. This cottage is for brides and bridesmaids to get ready for the big day and potentially stay the night (for a small fee).

We have been working on (and will be working on) this project for quite a while now but haven’t been able to devote much attention to it until lately.

The Bridal Cottage is our “winter” project. Since winter is our off season, this gives us more time to try and tackle such a large task without straining ourselves.

This past year (while it was amazing), we really pushed ourselves. Every free moment was dedicated to creating our venue. We kept and over delivered on our promises to our brides and their families. So, having the entire winter to work on the Bridal Cottage allows us to actually take time to enjoy every decision and moment going into this project.

The first thing we had to do was clear and clean out the house. Once that was done, we created a kitchen.

Luckily we have some amazing family that installed our kitchen cabinets. Shout out to Cabinets Direct in Johnson City (they travel all over the region if you want to use them!). We were able to discuss our vision with them and they TOTALLY delivered on what we were going for.

The next project is picking out paint colors and starting to paint. Stay tuned for more updates on the Bridal Cottage!
