Bridal Cottage - On the home stretch
We are to the point in the bridal cottage that we are now doing the final details in the construction phase. This blog won’t be “exciting” for most of you-but it is real life for us. Each of these accomplishments (however big or small) bring us a step closer to being done.
Our goals for this weekend are-finishing up trim, caulking and doing touch up paint. Once all that gets finished, we can do our last deep clean and start decorating!
Last weekend we got a lot of work on the bathroom completed. We got it 1) cleaned out 2) painted the walls (at least the first coat on), 3) put the vanity and sink in and 4) got the plumbing finished. All that’s left is giving it another coat of paint, cleaning the tub and installing a shower head/rod.
I have to give another shout out to Chad’s dad and brother for all their hard work on this cottage. Without their help, we would not be able to do what we do. They are always more than willing to help and provide great insights to each project.
I’m ending this post on a decorating note-all of our chandeliers are in and working! This is in our actual bridal suite where the bride and bridesmaids will be able to get ready in. I love each of our chandeliers-but this one just stands out more than the others…maybe it’s the wood ceiling makes this one my favorite.
